Evelyn Lozada Shares Her Beauty Faves for Summer

The reality TV star also suggests nurturing skin and hair from the inside out.

Despite the drama that she’s been through (both on screen and off), Evelyn Lozada never fails to look put together on the outside. In promoting her latest reality show, Livin’ Lozada, the former Basketball Wives star shared her hopes to shed her mean girl persona and show viewers a more mature side to the drama queen they've come to know.

During a recent interview with StyleBlazer about her new show on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Lozada took the opportunity to share some of the beauty products she keeps in her stash to get through the summer heat.

“Youth H2O. I don’t really endorse a lot of things, but this is something I truly believe in,” Lozada said. “It’s been great for my hair and skin. If you look at video of me on Basketball Wives, my skin was struggling a little bit. It’s just an all-natural product and it’s amazing. It’s good to work from the inside out. If you are eating greasy food all day, it’s going to affect your skin. That is why I drink the Youth H2O every day. The Dr. Lancer products have also been amazing for me. I’m 39...there’s certain things I need to do, like exfoliate, and those products have been great for me.”

Lozada also listed some of her favorite hair products, because the intense summer sun can give your hair a serious beating if you don’t learn to condition and protect it. Funny enough, one of her must-have items is a hooded hair dryer, but it’s not just for adding more heat to the fire.

"You know what else works for my hair? Having a dryer. I call it the Dominican hair dryer. I bought it on Amazon for $120 and it doesn’t take up that much space in your house," she said. "I am under that dryer with conditioning treatments or with a roller set, but it really, really helps my hair. Especially because I have a lot of color in my hair. That is my greatest investment when it comes to my hair, that dryer. I lug it with me wherever I move to."

"And Biosilk Silk Therapy," Lozada added. "I don’t put too much of it, just a little bit on the ends."
