Tweet Sheet: Radio Makes Diddy "Nauseous"
"Sometimes when I listen to the radio It makes me nauseous ! Like I wanna thow [sic] up in my mouth a lil bit. Sorry... Real talk! Wtf!" — @iamdiddy
The above tweet, if you're not one of his 3.5 million–plus followers (or a follower of the spanking new alter ego @iamswag—8,000 followers in less than 24 hours), was written by Diddy last night. And I know what you're thinking: Puff's calling the kettle black. "Ass on the Floor" isn't exactly a masterpiece.
But dude's got a point. And even if you're not a fan of the Diddy-Dirty Money project, you've got to admit that few artists around today know more about making pop hits than the guy that brought you "Mo Money, Mo Problems" and "I'll Be Missing You."
So I'm with Puff on this one. Radio hasn't been a real destination for music lovers in a long time. That's not really news to anyone who's ever read a music blog. I love pop music as much as the next guy, but today's airwaves have become predictable and uninspiring. Its pretty sickening. Real talk.
