Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg Is Ready To Get Post Malone Out The Paint

"No more passes for you."

Hot 97's own Peter Rosenberg has joined the chorus of critics taking aim at Post Malone following his recent eyebrow-raising comments, and it appears as though he isn't holding back.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 29), the radio vet shared his unfiltered opinion on the "Rockstar" artist. "Post Malone, I'm done giving you passes bro," he began his brief rant. "You got a pass for braids, which is not common. You got a pass for the n-word thing that happened on Snapchat... So, either leave hip-hop and go make music in another genre or start showing respect for hip-hop."

If you recall, during a recent sit-down with a Polish outlet, Post shared his thoughts on hip-hop's emotional value which later caused a firestorm on social media. "If you're looking to cry, if you're looking to think about life, don't listen to hip-hop," the rapper told the publication. "There's great hip-hop songs where they talk about life and they really spit that real s**t, but right now, you know, there's not a lot of people talking about s**t. Whenever I wanna cry, whenever I wanna sit down and have a nice cry, I'll listen to some, like, Bob Dylan."

In the wake of Post's comments circulating, artists like Earl SweatshirtVince Staples and more didn't hesitate to address the Stoney rapper. Rosenberg also had a thought or three to add.

"Hip-hop isn't the music you go to for emotion or important things?" the Hot 97 vet continued. "Hip-hop has been the soundtrack of every important day of my life and many people like me and all around the world of every different background. So, start showing respect for hip-hop or get out."

Nearly 24 hours later, Rosenberg doubled down on his comments during his on-air slot.
