Here's Why Terrence J Is Leaving E! News

The anchor has big plans for the future.

After three years of killing it as the co-anchor of E! News, Terrence J announced that he would be leaving the show to focus on acting and producing full-time.
The TV host and actor jokingly said that he didn’t want to draw out a long goodbye because he wouldn’t want to see his fellow E! correspondent Jason Kennedy do “the man-tear thing.” He went on to thank everyone involved in the show, saying he how much he loved the experience but that it is important for him to grow and he wants to explore the many opportunities before him.
Of course Terrence J got his start on BET's 106 & Park in 2005 and never looked back. Since then, he has also appeared in several hit films (including a starring role in the upcoming The Perfect Match), TV shows and even released his first book, titled The Wealth of My Mother’s Wisdom.
Terrence described his next steps as “exciting, but also bittersweet,” and added that in order to grow, he had to create new challenges and create new dreams for himself.
Finally, Terrence J took to Twitter, publishing two quick and thoughtful tweets. “Thank you all for the love & support, you’ll are the best. I appreciate everything and can’t wait for this next chapter!!” He concluded with a uplifting message to his fans, “Always bet on yourself, never get too comfortable, and follow your dreams no matter what!”
We know TJ is going to tear it up no matter what he does next.
