Social media personality Shiggy majorly rose to fame when his video showing him dancing to Drake's "In My Feelings" went viral, sparking a widely viral challenge of the same name.

Recently, we spoke with the Internet sensation to see how his viral success came to be.

The Queens, New York, native first detailed the moments that led up to the birth of the challenge that helped the song reach No. 1 on the Billboard 100 chart.

"I was coming from Long Island... the song just happened to come on," he said. "I never heard it before. That was the first time me hearing the song, too."

So, what inspired the now iconic moves? Well, nothing, really, as Shiggy explained that he just emoted the words with his movements.

"I didn't really know what I was going to do 'til the video," he said. "I just started dancing to the words."
