Shaquille O’Neal Reveals Why He Couldn’t Find Love While Online Dating

Shaq recently joined Kit Hoover and Loni Love on Access Daily to talk about Christmas, his annual "Shaq A Claus" event, his kids, and his experiences with dating apps. While chatting with the pair, O’Neal star openly admitted that he has tried his hand with the dating app Tinder, but it didn’t go as well as he hoped it would.
“I went on Tindr one time and I saw a beautiful young lady, she reminded me of you Kit,” O’Neal joked. He went on to recall, “I was like, ‘Hey. Meet me, it’s Shaq’ and she was like, ‘You’re not Shaq. No way Shaq wouldn’t be on the Tinder app,’”
The former NBA star says he responded, “‘It’s me! Meet me at the 7-Eleven on the corner.’”
The girl reportedly declined, saying, “‘I don’t meet strange people.’”
After that interaction, O’Neal said he had to get rid of the app.
Hoover and Love gave the O’Neal some pretty simple advice for next time—don’t ask them to meet you at a 7-Eleven. He chucked.
