Hollywood divorces rarely come as a surprise, but this one is true shocker.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, TMZ reports. The date of separation on the court documents is listed as September 15, and the alleged reason for their split has nothing to do with another woman or too much time apart. 

According to TMZ, Jolie didn't like the way her husband had been parenting their six children. It's not clear which of her methods he violated, but it's enough to have made Jolie file for sole physical custody of the brood. She asked a court to grant Pitt visitation and joint legal custody but clearly wants the kids under her control moving forward.
Jolie isn't seeking any spousal support.
The couple got together in 2004, amid a scandal involving Pitt's then-wife Jennifer Aniston, and finally tied the knot in August 2014.
