Method Man's Interview With The Breakfast Club Proves He's an OG
Method Man is making his return to doing interviews with hip hop outlets. Well, kind of.
In March, the Wu-Tang Clan legend went off on various hip hop outlets for misquoting him and using his words out of context. Meth must have had a change of heart, joining The Breakfast Club for an interview about his role in Trainwreck and untold stories during his early days in Wu-Tang Clan. There's plenty of gems, but Meth speaking about Kendrick Lamar paying homage to him on SNL last November stood out to us.
"I'm going to change my whole vernacular right now. I like'ed that," he said. "I met Kendrick before, he's a cool, little dude. He's focused. Smart. I like that. He's like what Public Enemy was to us ... Kendrick he's definitely got his thumb on the pulse of Black culture."
We'd rather not spoil it for you. Meth also speaks on recording with The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac, which is crazy to think that he's one of the rare few that recorded with both. Just watch the full episode below.
