Jameis Winston Celebrates No. 1 Draft Pick With Crab Legs

New Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback then deleted Instagram shot.

Whether Jameis Winston shoplifted crab legs from a supermarket or he was hooked up with them by an employee, the incident was one of the more pressing ones of the Florida State quarterback's background.

However, Winston being selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the top overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft was supposed to represent a new beginning in his career and life.

But while celebrating the joyous moment in his Alabama hometown, Winston posted an Instagram photo of himself with a crab leg dinner. The moment immediately caught fire, getting shared across all social media streams and bringing the young QB plenty of criticism.

Winston must have felt the heat because he wound up deleting the Instagram shot.

Just after being selected by the Bucs and before posting the Instagram picture with the crab legs, Winston told ESPN the following: "Actions speak so much louder than words, or what they may have read or what they may have heard. It's about your actions. Whatever is in the past is in the past. I look forward to gaining everyone's trust."

Buccaneers coach Lovie Smith downplayed Winston's crab legs photo Friday morning on ESPN's Mike & Mike.
