Heather Heyer's life is being celebrated all across social media after she was murdered while standing up to racism and counter-protesting the hatred that was taking place at the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Saturday (August 12).

Since her death, several celebrities have taken to social media to extend their condolences and spread her message of positivity.

Heyer, a 32-year-old paralegal, met her fate when a car aimlessly drove into a crowd of counter-protesters. The man behind the wheel, James Fields Jr., has been charged with second degree murder.

Her last public Facebook post showed a powerful message: "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention."
