Master P Sued by Same Crew Twice
While the career of his 22-year-old son, Romeo, has been on the up-and-up lately, Master P cannot say he's been as lucky. In fact, he's been battling his former film crew over allegations that money owed to them was never received.
In 2003, when he was making the movie “Papa P,” crew members who worked on the film sued him for over $240,000 for lack of payment for services, and won. However, TMZ reports that the New Orleans-bred rapper, born Percy Miller, never paid his debt. Now, eight years later, the crew has taken their grief to Los Angeles’s Bankruptcy Court in a class action suit.
Perhaps Miller, 44, should have coughed up the dough the first time, because now TMZ reports that the plaintiffs' goal is to bankrupt the rap mogul who, at one time, was reportedly worth $600 million, so that he will eventually have to pay through a trustee.
