NBA 2015-16 Season Tips Off With Pelicans-Warriors, Cavs-Bulls
The 2015-16 NBA season will tip off in style.
On Wednesday, the league released its 2015-16 season schedule, which will start Oct. 27 with Stephen Curry and defending champion Golden State Warriors hosting Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans and LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers visiting Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls.
An action-packed, five-game Christmas Day schedule also has the Cavs taking on the Warriors in an NBA Finals rematch.
Other interesting storylines of the NBA's new schedule include DeAndre Jordan and the Los Angeles Clippers visiting the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 11, marking the first time the center will play in Dallas since spurning the Mavs and the verbal offer he gave them to re-sign with the Clippers.
Also on Nov. 11, LaMarcus Aldridge and the San Antonio Spurs will visit Portland, marking the first time that the All-Star power forward visits his old Trail Blazers team.
