Hilarious Video Shows ‘Drunk’ Drake Join Jack Harlow’s Interview At Kentucky Derby
Drake appeared to have a great time at the Kentucky Derby Saturday (May 7), as well as a cocktail or two.
According to CBS Sports, the Toronto rapper was eavesdropping on an NBC live interview with fellow artist Jack Harlow, who was asked if he and Drake were filming a music video for their new song ”Churchill Downs.”
That’s when Drake stepped into the camera frame and interrupted.
“I just had to show up. I’m so proud of this guy,” Drake said about Harlow.
“And we’re drunk,” Drake continued before clarifying that “he’s sober. I’m drunk.”
At one point, Drake noticed a production crew member behind the camera signaling the interviewers to wrap up the discussion.
“You can’t give it the wrap-it-up signal,” Drake said. “What are you gonna cut to, a shot of like, really manicured grass, or something?”
Harlow and Drake were at the Derby to film a music video for their new song on Harlow’s second studio album, Come Home The Kids Miss You, released on May 6, the Louisville Courier-Journal reported. In addition to Drake, tracks on the album also feature Lil Wayne, Pharrell, and Justin Timberlake.
