What if you held a tryout and no one came? Well, that's what Terrell Owens found out when he worked out Tuesday for all of the NFL to see that he is fully recovered from ACL surgery and ready to return to football and none of the teams sent a rep to watch.

Though none of the 32 NFL teams sent a representative to Calabasas, California to watch the 37-year-old free agent wide receiver in the made-for-TV workout, Owens was undeterred by the seeming lack of interest, as ESPN and the NFL Network filmed away.

"I only need one team," Owens told the NFL Network. "I only need one chance."

But the question is whether any teams are willing to take a chance on the aging star, whose controversial antics could do more damage than his fading skills will help a team. The six-time Pro Bowl player was fairly productive last season with the Cincinnati Bengals, catching 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns.

The concern now could be the uncertainty of how the offseason ACL surgery may hinder him. Owens wore a T-shirt that said “I am” on the front and “ready” on the back. He did some drills and caught passes but did not run the 40-yard dash.

"I definitely feel there are some teams out there that are interested," Owens told ESPN.
