Joyner Lucas Just Exposed These DMs From Tomi Lahren, And The Internet Has Questions

"Is this a trap?"

After setting the Internet ablaze with his controversial music video for "Devil's Work," Joyner Lucas is further stoking the flames after he shared a DM from conservative news analyst Tomi Lahren.

Just minutes after publicly calling the track, "sick,"  the conservative political commentator slid into the Connecticut rapper's DMs on Instagram. On Monday (May 6), Joyner posted the two messages sent by Lahren last Thursday (May 2) on his Twitter and Instagram.

  • As opportunistic as ever, Lahren asked for a sit-down interview with the MC to "find some common ground."

  • Since dropping last Thursday (May 2), Lucas’ video for his lead single off his newly released album ADHD has racked up over 5 million views and got a co-sign from Rihanna, who called it a “moment for the culture.”

  • While Joyner hasn't revealed his official stance on sitting down and hashing things out with the Fox Nation host, many fans are questioning the talk show host's motive.

Lahren, whose career has largely been built off stoking political divides with hateful and misinformed rhetoric, has a long history of mocking and making fun off the hip-hop community as it suits her needs.

She most recently mocked 21 Savage after he was arrested by ICE in February. Before that, she bumped heads with Cardi BThe Game and Wale over her political views.

  • Lahren publicly followed up and tweeted that she is "open" to listening to Lucas' perspective. The "I'm Not A Racist" rapper has yet to respond.

  • The attempt follows Charlamagne Tha God and Master P's recent interviews with Lahren too, who attempted to reason with her over her hostile rhetoric against Black Lives Matter.

  • Let's see how far she gets with Mr. Lucas.
