Rich The Kid Posted This Devastating 'R.I.P.' Message On Instagram And Fans Are Worried Sick

His manager has reportedly responded to the mayhem.

Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid has had a pretty tough summer 2018 so far.

After the “New Freezer” artist was hospitalized in June following an attack during an armed robbery, rumors that his girlfriend Tori Brixx, who also fell victim to the burglarizing attack, quickly surfaced from suspicion of other industry mates, such as Game. News of the robbery sparked after Rich posted a cryptic, caption-less photo of himself laid out in a hospital bed with tubes and wires snaked around him, leaving fans anxiously worried about his condition.

On Tuesday (July 31), Rich hit fans with that same aura of anxiety yet again with an obscure and epitaphic Instagram post reading, “R.i.P. Rich the kid 1992-2018.” Fortunately, there was one person that was able to bring clarity to the mysterious message, but not before fans scurried all over the internet for answers that might have confirmed their worst fears.

  • Rich also deleted all other posts from his Instagram, leaving only the grimly vague post remaining

  • Immediately, an outpour of concern and worry swarmed the internet as fans pondered the exact meaning of the message

  • Thankfully, their concerns were put to rest after someone reportedly close to Rich and his team confirmed that ‘he’s just retiring the name’…

The decision follows some hostility between Rich and 300 Entertainment record label home. In a recent video, the “Plug Walk” rapper blasted the label, demanding that executives release him from his contract and even offered to return the money he received from them. “Young independent artists, do not sign with 300 Ent,” he warned in the clip. “They’re the worst, worst label ever!”
