Mean Old Neighbor Caught Deflating the Bounce House at a Two-Year-Old's Party
A surveillance camera at a home in Port St. Lucie, Florida, captured a man unplugging and deflating a bounce house at a child’s birthday party.
The mother of the two-year-old who had the party told CBS 12 that two children had to be taken to the hospital after the man deflated the bounce house.
"We were very nervous about the kids because it was extremely hot and they were trapped inside the bounce house," mother Deborah Romero said.
One of the kids was taken to the hospital for distress, while the other was checked for possible injuries since he had to be pulled from under the heavy plastic.
"We couldn’t really reach for all the kids, and we unfortunately had to pull one of the kids by his leg," Romero said.
After noticing the house was deflated and all the children were pulled from the plastic, a family member at the party saw the bounce house was unplugged.
They took a look at the home surveillance system and saw an unknown man — probably in his 60s — go into the yard and unplug the house. He then left the property and walked across the street.
A YouTube video was created calling the man a "bad neighbor."
A police spokesperson told CBS 12 they knocked on the doors of the surrounding houses, but the man in the video was never identified.
