Reggie Bush Suing City of St. Louis Over Freak Injury
It was one of the most freak injuries that you'll ever see in football.
When San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush tried to slow his momentum out of bounds following a rushing play at the St. Louis Rams' Edward Jones Dome on November 1, he slipped, fell and tore his MCL on the sidelines.
The 30-year-old NFL rusher who had surgery last week is furious and wants to get paid over a negligent injury that could potentially end his career. Yahoo Sports is reporting that Bush has hired an attorney and will sue the city of St. Louis, which owns Edward Jones Dome for the freak injury.
Bush's impending lawsuit will likely have him alleging gross negligence for the Dome's slippery concrete surface, which caused him to get injured.
With a rash of injuries before this, Bush might have played his last NFL game. As of yet, there's no telling the amount his lawsuit will be.
