Columbus Short Evicted From L.A. Home
Columbus Short's bad year keeps getting worse. The troubled actor, who was fired from Scandal after facing separate felony charges of domestic abuse and assault and battery, has been evicted from his Los Angeles home.
According to TMZ, Short couldn't keep up with the $6,995/month rent and his landlord was granted a court order giving Short five days to leave. The former Scandal star was only one month behind on his rent, but given his reputation and his knack for skipping town on his responsibilities, it seems his landlord wasn't willing to extend him any further credit.
Short vacated the property before his time was up, but his landlord says that he isn't sure if the controversial star paid his past due rent before bolting.
