Tupac Amaru Shakur Collection Opens in Atlanta
Atlanta University Center makes Tupac’s writing and papers public for research.
Fifteen years after the death of California emcee and actor Tupac Shakur, the Tupac Amaru Shakur Collection has been opened at the Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library. The collection includes Tupac’s writing (including song lyrics, poems, treatments for videos and poems), as well as fan mail, personal correspondence, publicity materials and media clips. The collection is the result of a collaboration between the university center (which includes Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse University and Spelman College) and the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation. Tupac was only 25 when he died.
