We absolutely adored Estelle’s glammed up look for Black Girls Rock. She truly knows how to play up her deep-set eyes and rich complexion. Looking spectacular, the singer performed an emotional rendition of “Thank You,” and we have a few tips to help you steal her gold, sparkling eyes and glossy pout.
Start with a flawless palate by prepping your skin with the moisturizer of your choice. Darker beauties can then look to Iman’s line of foundations for hues that blend perfectly with our deep, varying shades.
Paint lids with a nude, champagne eye shadow and use a combination of liquid and pencil black eyeliner. Use the pencil to create a thick winged-tip eye and follow up with the liquid liner to perfect your line. Using a small eyebrow brush, sweep a shimmering gold MAC pigment in the corners of your eyes and blend.
Estelle’s shiney lip will last longer by applying a nude lipstick with a clear gloss.
Glamorous false lashes dressed with a heavy coat of mascara and blush will finish the look.
