Are Air Jordans destroying our society? In the same week that we saw people stealing from their fellow man for a pair of new Js, a different man decided to take stand against what he thinks is tearing the Black community apart: sneaker obsession.

In the video he says, "Today we are going to have a barbecue," and points to his thirteen pairs of customized Jordans inside. "We letting these Jordans take over us. All you seen is videos of Black people running through the mall, trying to get Jordans. Waiting in line multiple hours for Jordans, kids getting killed over Jordans. These Jordans are starting to be a problem."
He goes on to say that he won't buy any pairs for himself or his kids, "I'm not gonna wear a pair of Jordans and I'm not gonna buy another pair of Jordans. Even though some of them do look good, it's not worth the problem."

Maybe dude is hoping that his dramatic gesture will spur an anti-Jordan revolution where everyone will live in sneaker-less peace, but still, did he have to go and burn every pair? Even the customized 11s?
