This Hack Will Get Rid Of That Annoying Autocorrect Bug In Apple's iOS Update

Type the letter "I" in peace again.

Are you sick of the symbols  “A[?],” “#[?]” and “![?]” destroying your texts, social media posts or, even worse, that flirty DM any time you type the letter “I”? We are too.

Instead of the letter “I,” a capital “A” or an exclamation point and a square box with a question mark inside of it are appearing when using Apple’s native keyboard. It’s not just newly purchased phones that are affected by this nuisance. iOS 11 users from iPhone 6 and up are also seeing the glitch. So we did some research in an effort to help fix the annoying problem until Apple figures out what is causing it.

According to Apple’s Support page, the issue will be “fixed in a future software update” and that users should go to Settings >General >Keyboard >Text Replacement to add an autocorrect replacement for the lowercase “i” with an uppercase one.

We tried it and it works! No longer will your friends need to decipher what you are trying to say via text while we wait for a more permanent solution to the issue from Apple. Hooray!
