Look: Man Raises Over 15K for Teen Who Didn't Let an Arm Sling and Neck Brace Stop Him From Working at Chick-Fil-A for a Good Cause
While getting some food at an Indiana Chick-Fil-A, a customer noticed something unusual about the cashier and took a photo
The photo was taken by Cameron Nelson, who asked the cashier what happened
"He said he was involved in a car accident, but he was working cause he needs the money & also wants to feed the homeless for Christmas & needs the cash," Cameron wrote on his Facebook page.
After hearing his story, Cameron posted about the encounter to Facebook, as well as a link to a GoFundMe page
Immediately, the post became a viral sensation and was shared over 15,000 times. This led to a massive amount of attention for the GoFundMe page.

Cameron wrote he created 'this GoFundMe page to help him along his mission & show some support.'
The goal was initially set at $2,500, but with all the attention the story received, the fundraiser has gotten over $15,000.
Jakeem, who has sent messages of gratitude on social media, has received much support from Chick-Fil-A
"Although he was in a car accident recently, he returned to work after being cleared by his doctor and with the support of his family so he could not only serve alongside his team in the restaurant but also earn money to give back to others.
"We are beyond proud of Jakeem and support his efforts to serve the homeless in our community. In regards to the money being donated on his behalf: Jakeem is grateful for the support of the community. How he decides to utilize the money is up to Jakeem and his parents," Chick-Fil-A said in a statement to DailyMail.com.
