Lori Harvey is reflecting on the style-maven she has blossomed into.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the SKN by LH founder discussed her fashion and style journey and how she sometimes enjoys a break from her signature exquisite style.

“I think just as I've grown older, I've gotten more comfortable in my skin,” she explained. "Just more confident in who I am. So now I just embrace it. Embrace it all. Take it all in and really owning it." 

Still, arriving at this moment in her quest for all things glitz and glamour hasn't been an overnight voyage. When Lori was a teenager, she said her flair was much different than what it is today.

“Honestly, just as I'm growing, I always look back and I'm like, ‘Wow, I don't even remember that person.’ But like, ‘Okay, love this. And we love the growth.’” 

Last month, Lori unveiled her new collection with PrettyLittleThing in Los Angeles. At the brand's launch party, she donned a purple sequined mini dress punctuated with a pair of black sheer pantyhose to introduce the company's Partywear line. With her signature curls, perfectly laid baby hairs, sculpted cheeks, and nude lips, Lori did not come to play.

As she prepares to spend the holidays with her family, including siblings, cousins, and famous parents –Steve Harvey and wife Marjorie Harvey– in the United Arab Emirates, Lori is ready to rock pieces she can easily relax in.

“I want to be comfortable, especially because all the kids are coming over, and they’ll color on me. They’ll put stickers on me. They’ll want to braid my hair. They’ll want to do anything so I'm like let me just be chill, sweats, and then whatever you guys want to do,” she said. “If you want to draw on me, whatever, I'm here.”
