Young Chris's 'Legends Never Die' Features New Verse From Beanie Sigel
Beanie Sigel's homecoming is complete with a new song, the aptly titled "Legends Never Die," courtesy of his State Property brethren Young Chris and a hook from Guordan Banks of Meek Mill's Dream Chasers Records.
Cinematic horns fill out the Cardiak production as the trio of Philly representers celebrate the longevity of legacy. "You know it's crew love at the end of the day, though," Sigel raps. "And this is Roc-a-Fella for life," reminds Chris. "Still on the payroll," Sigel follows up.
The two go back and forth like that throughout the song and Banks's infectious melody gives it that added James Bond feel. "The stars stay in the sky/ Legends never die," he points out.
Beans was locked up in 2012 and served concurrent terms for drug possession and tax evasion. He was released in August.
