From the runways of high-end fashion houses like Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana to red carpets with Kim Kardashian and Bella Hadi, it’s no wonder why Pat McGrath is, as Vogue once called her, “the most influential make-up artist in the world.”

Oh and did we mention the 39-year-old also happens to be the global creative design director for Procter & Gamble, helping develop both the CoverGirl and Max Factor lines?

Yeah, she’s baaaaad. 

And thankfully for us mere mortals, we now don’t have to be a celeb or a supermodel to be touched by her color palette greatness. McGrath recently teamed up with cosmetics powerhouse Sephora to make her new innovative lip color line, Pat McGrath Labs Lust 004, available to everyone.

This limited series comes in three ($60) “perverse” lip kits dubbed “Bloodwine,” “Flesh” and “Vermillion Venom." Each of these kits consists of two different, yet complimentary matte lipsticks, a vinyl gloss, a metallic gold pigment and a mesmerizing microfine glitter to top off the look. And if you can’t decide between which gluttonous shades you want, don’t choose. Get them all with the Lust 004 Everything ($150). Just want the lipsticks? No worries, you can buy them separately for $25.

So how does it work?

Depending on what look you’re going for, first layer your lips with one or two of the matte colors —if an ombre look if your thing — and then apply a layer of the high gloss over the color to give it a pop.

If you want more FIYAH, take it up a notch by adding a layer of the metallic gold and then finishing it off with the microfine glitter for super “rapturous results.”
