Megan Thee Stallion On New Music: 'I'm Ready To Call It An Album'

Here’s what we know so far.

Megan Thee Stallion has been on a blazing hot streak. She’s held down an insanely busy schedule; touring, feature performances on some of the year’s hottest tracks and doing “a whole lotta hot girl s**t” all summer long. But it seems the Head Hottie might be finally ready to deliver.

  • When she was at BeautyCon LA, Meg shared that she was going to “bring Tina Snow back out in the winter,” for fans who have long missed the Pimp C-inspired alter ego.

Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez asked the rapper, “What’s happening. Are we getting an album soon?” ahead of her performance at Powerhouse NYC on Saturday (Oct. 26).

  • The “Cash S**t” rapper shared that she’s laid down enough tracks to comfortably call her next project an album.

“So, I used to say I'm not ready to commit to an album. I feel like that's a boyfriend [or] a husband,” the Fever rapper joked. “I think I'm finally ready to call it an album.”

  • Just before Angie could press her for more details, Meg finished with a cheeky, “We’ll see.” In August, Megan teased that she and Lizzo were working on something together after their twerktastic meet-up.

  • A week later, Thee Stallion also cryptically tweeted that the follow-up to her 2018 EP is on its way, posting the announcement with a glancing eye emoji.

  • Despite the vagueness, there’s one thing Megan says you can be sure of, “I do not like disappointing people," she declared.

“I don’t give a f**k about what people got to say, but if I’ve obligated myself to something, I like to follow through.”
