We’ll soon hear a lot more of Monica’s amazing voice; Cee Lo Green just brought her on board for his team on NBC’s The Voice. Modeled after Holland’s The Voice of Holland, the show features four music coaches—Green, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton—who blindly pick contestants by their voices, and nothing else. Each of the coaches have a team that helps them turn the raw talent into hopeful stars, who will then battle it out for the title of “The Voice,” which comes with a record deal and $100,000. The show will be hosted by Carson Daly.
Monica is super-excited about the show, and has been tweeting photos from the set: “Still taping the voice with my big homie @ceelogreen this has been an amazing experience http://plixi.com/p/88515013.” The show will debut on April 26, 2011.
