Juvenile To Do ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ After Fans Reach His 10K Retweet Challenge
Juvenile will be participating in NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert music series, thanks to Twitter.
Last week, the New Orleans rapper announced that he would perform after a fan urged the outlet to book him. Initially, he dismissed the request, insisting he didn’t know what Tiny Desk was. Juvie then had a quick change of heart and stated he would consider doing the gig if his Twitter post about it received enough engagement.
“Ok ok 😂😂 All Things Considered,” he wrote while promoting his spiked ice tea brand. “10k retweets and I will RECONSIDER doing @NPR Tiny Desk while drinking an ice cold #JuvieJuice from @UrbanSouthBeer!”

Just hours later, the tweet had amassed north of the 10,000 retweets Juvenile was asking for, so in turn, he confirmed that he had secured a Tiny Desk Concert performance, vowing to deliver “a one-of-a-kind show.”
In a video on Friday (April 14), Tiny Desk senior producer Bobby Carter seemed to confirm Juvenile’s set. “He hasn’t been here yet, but y’all went up for him on social media,” Carter said. “And I’m just here to let you know—look at me—we see it, we hear it, we know what you want.”
