Look: Steph Curry Responds to Internet Trolls Dragging His Sneakers

Here's the subtle way the back-to-back MVP silenced the hate.

The internet dragging of Stephen Curry's new Under Armour Curry 2 sneakers started last week and has already trickled into this week.

Twitter trolls called the kicks everything from the official sneakers of substitute physical education teachers everywhere to the shoes of choice for the Cheesecake Factory and the go-to option for nurses in the emergency room. Aw, man... that slander rained down like Curry's 3-pointers.

Still, Curry remains unfazed over the hate. With his Golden State Warriors up 3-1 over LeBron James's Cleveland Cavaliers in these NBA Finals — with a potentially clinching Game 5 on Monday night — Steph is as cool as can be.

The reigning back-to-back MVP showed up to practice Sunday rocking his new Curry 2s. Yeah... he's basking in the hate.

If you take a closer look at the kicks, Steph even responded to all the hate over his sneakers, defending Under Armour's design with "straight fire" scribbled onto the shoes with a fire emoji.

His wife, Ayesha, approves.

Steph's subtle response is passive aggressive, if anything, considering he torched the Cavs for 38 points in Game 4 on Friday night and seems proud to rep his new kicks despite the slander continuing to roast him and Under Armour on the internet.

Let's see how real the internet hate gets if Steph wins the championship and pops Champagne, all while rocking his Curry 2s.
