Amber Rose: I'm Not Dating Any More Music Stars
Model and actress Amber Rose made her media rounds for All-Star weekend and revealed nuggets about her life that took many by surprise. During stops by Hot 97 and The Breakfast Club, she spoke candidly about her split from Wiz Khalifa, dating only famous men, and what really went down between her and Chris Brown at the club.
"I sat in the house and cried for four months," she told the Ebro in the Morning team of her separation from ex-husband Wiz. "Every day. When I woke up. Went to bed. Cried and cried. Wiz was the love of my life and he broke my heart."
Though she was left heartbroken by a famous musician, she does not intend on dating an average Joe with a nine to five. Speaking on her dating preferences, she said, "I personally feel like I don't want to date a regular guy because a regular guy is not fully going to understand my life."
But she's adamant about not dating another music star, too. Instead, she said, she'd date a poet and hinted that she may count Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden as her Valentine.(They have a "very 'special' friendship, for sure," she noted, although, "I didn't get the 'D' yet.")
This all comes off the heels of the viral video showing her dancing on R&B heartthrob Chris Brown at a club, which she admits was simply a ploy to make her ex jealous. "[I was] being petty 'cause I was hurt over my husband," she explained. "My husband has been out with 50 different women, pulling sweaty white b**s out the club. And all these other girls. And not only was I in the house crying every day mourning my husband. I had to see that... And I'm in the house."
Getting a bit more personal and introspective, the risqué model talked about her comments on the OWN documentary Light Girls where she called her family "racist" and said that they did not approve of her marriage to the "Black & Yellow" rapper because he was Black.
"Let me make this very clear, because the white side of my family got really mad at me," she said. "My dad is white. It was not the white side of my family. They're not racists at all. [It was] the Cape Verdean side of my family... not my entire side of the family. I'm talking about the old heads."
Delving further into the topic of race, Rose dropped an even bigger bomb. "I do not consider myself a Black woman. Absolutely not... Biracial," she said. "I embrace everything that I am. I don't feel like I'm more one thing than the other."
Elsewhere in the chats, Rose, who is set to star in Sister Code with Drew Sidora and Eva Marcille, also spoke on plastic surgery, being a role model and her upcoming book, How to Be a Bad B**h.
