In one of the most shocking events of the year, thus far, 21 Savage was arrested by ICE for allegedly overstaying his visa. The rapper, to the surprise of many, is reportedly a citizen of the United Kingdom who came to the United States in 2005.

Since the news of his arrest broke, several celebrities and trolls alike took to social media to disappointingly poke fun at the rapper's demise. However, the narrative recently shifted to Savage's ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, with many swarming her mentions, seeking answers.

After dating the 26-year-old rapper for some time, Rose announced in March 2018 that they decided to go their separate ways, citing fame as one of the main causes of their split.

She maintained, in her announcement, that she hoped she and Savage could remain friends, though they were no longer romantically involved.

Fans seemed to take her words to heart as they swarmed her Twitter mentions upon hearing the news of Savage's possible deportation. Aside from oddly attempting to involve the model in the otherwise gravely serious matter, several Twitter users took mentioning her in the ordeal as a means to secure an unnecessary viral social media moment.
