Autistic Teen Who Went Missing For Six Days Has Been Found Safe
Cleveland teenager Emma Danei Linek was missing for six days, but has now been found safe.
According to Atlanta station WXIA television reported that on Sept. 6, the 17-year-old Linek, who has autism, traveled from home in Cleveland, Ohio, to Atlanta, Georgia. Her intended final destination was in Boston, and it appears that a flight change landed her in Georgia. The teen was reported to be in danger and needed medication.
She was seen on video in Atlanta leaving the airport with an unknown man. The man was later located, but it was not revealed if he was suspected of any crime, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Linek was reunited with her father on Sunday, Sept. 11, according to the FBI.
The FBI did not reveal Linek’s current condition. Her family has not made a public statement since she was found.
