2018 is about to be lit from the jump! BET is set to introduce a new award show specifically designed to recognize the wide range of social media talent that dominated the year.

Coming in February, we will be airing the inaugural BET Social Awards, executive produced by Mike Epps.

The BET Social Awards will be the first televised award show of its kind and seeks to celebrate both the best — and worst — figures and moments in social media over the past year. Everything from the most viral memes, hashtags and trends of the year to your favorite celebrity follows will be recognized during the one-hour event.

The moments that flooded your timelines across all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Musical.ly and more will be celebrated.

The BET Social Awards will air live on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at 10:00 p.m. on BET.
