Rae Sremmurd Reportedly Sued For Hitting A Fan With A Water Bottle
If there’s anyone who knows how to throw a good concert turn-up, it’s the Black Beatles-rapping crowd pleasers themselves, Rae Sremmurd.
But according to reports from TMZ, things may have gotten a little too turned when the pair allegedly threw water bottles into the crowd, leading to a bloody face for a fan.
The site reports that the Michigan fan described his injuries from the incident in gruesome detail, including that the water bottle hit him so hard that “a chunk of his face” was torn off. As alleged in court documents, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi also never warned fans about their plans to shoot the bottles into the crowd during the October 2016 show, so the fan never had a chance to brace himself. The alleged injuries led to a hospital visit and permanent scarring, as reported by TMZ.
Now, he’s slapping a lawsuit on them claiming negligence, assault and battery on both mens’ behalf and calling for a currently undisclosed amount of money for damages in addition to them footing all of his medical bills.
Representatives from Rae Sremmurd’s team have yet to release statements on the allegations, but let’s just hope that matters can be settled for both parties sooner than later.
