We lost another legend. Actress and singer Della Reese passed away last night in her California home. She was 86 years old.

The Detroit native did it all: music, television and film. From big hits on the music charts to Emmy nominations to seven consecutive NAACP Image Award wins, Reese had the career entertainers only dreamed of. Roma Downey, who starred with her in Touched by an Angel, released the statement below:
