R. Kelly's New Song "Shut Up" Refers to Throat Surgery

He dedicated the track to his haters.

R. Kelly has a new song out and he'd like to dedicate this one to all his haters because after undergoing emergency throat surgery earlier in July, the R&B singer plans to make a full comeback.

“It's been a long time coming but I finally feel a lot better about my throat since the surgery and this is the first song I wrote,” he tweeted Thursday with a link to his song "Shut Up."

The track's intro is a straight jab to everyone who's criticized the singer in the past or questioned his ability to ever return to the game.

“This song goes out to all the people out there that be running their mouths and they don’t know what the hell they saying—Shut Up,” he starts off.

He goes on to thank the fans who were there during his hard days and the doctors who performed the surgery. Then he says he has a few things he has to get off his chest, one being that a "tsunami of rumors had come to wipe my career away."

"Now seriously, after all these hits, and melodies, and memories, you compare me to someone else? O-M-G/No offense to the other artists, but come on darlin', let's be honest: how many babies been made off me? O-M-G," he continues.

Do you think Kelly's back and as good as before? We'll be waiting to hear what he's got when his eleventh studio album "Black Panties" drops next year.
