Lupe Fiasco was the victim of some overzealous TSA officers at Los Angeles International airport last night [November 17]. While on his way to Rhode Island for a show, Fiasco was detained for a suspicious item in his luguage, reports AllHipHop.
"WOW…Fresh outta handcuffs @ LAX," Lupe tweeted shortly after the incident. "Airport PD officer was just doing way too much," Lupe tweeted. "Even OD's on TSA…let the arrest get before the CHARGES. We good tho #TimeForPrivateJets."
Apparently Lu was actually carrying a piece of music equipment that he didn't know wasn't allowed on the plane. Fiasco downplayed the hold up, tweeting, "Shout to all the good airport cops and TSA folks…don't let the bad apples spoil the bunch!!" said Lupe.
Fiasco boarded his plane without further incident.
