Is Toya Wright Ready To Call A Truce With Tamar Braxton?
The world got to see Tamar Braxton and Toy Wright's friendship crumble into pieces earlier this year after the singer slammed the TV personality in an apology post to their mutual friend Tiny. Since then, they certainly haven't sung one another's praises, with Toya calling Tamar the "fakest b***h" she knows and the singer recently explaining she she was hurt by the dissolving of their relationship.
Now, the pregnant reality star is speaking out on their strained relationship, explaining that she wishes her ex-bestie nothing but the best.
In a clip posted by Sister Circle TV, Toya spoke positively about Tamar, hinting that there is no more bad blood between them.
"I would like to say that I wish Tamar Braxton the best," she said. "I have nothing negative to say about her. I think she is an amazing singer and very talented. I wish her much success."
Speaking more broadly on the notion that Black women don't get along in media, Toya added that the "cattiness" needs to stop.
"As far as Black women in the entertainment industry handle conflict, I just feel like we use social media platforms to kind of air out a lot of cattiness and pettiness and I, myself... I'm not saying it's other people, because I'm a victim of that as well, but we have to do better," she added.
