Gray has racked up 11 assists at halftime with the current record set at 18 assists. Coincidentally, the record was set by one of her opponents tonight, Rui Muchida.
Simone Biles Has Made It To The Women’s Gymnastics Team Final
Our girl, Simone Biles, took a much needed mental health break and is back on the field giving it to the girls. Already making history as the fourth American female artistic gymnast to compete at three Olympic Games, Biles is on track to add more gold to her neck. Chosen as one of the four gymnasts who will compete in Tuesday’s women’s gymnastics face-off, Biles will anchor three of the four events.
Jayson Tatum Will Play Against South Sudan
After watching his team pick up a victory over Serbia, Team USA coach Steve Kerr has confirmed Boston Celtics power forward Jayson Tatum will play for Team USA in their upcoming game on Wednesday against South Sudan. “I’m not going to answer your next question, which is if he plays, who doesn’t, but we’re going to need him and part of this job for me is to keep everybody engaged and ready because my experience with this is crazy stuff happens,” said Kerr.
