Beastie Boys to Lead Anti-Hate Rally After Adam Yauch Park Was Vandalized, Twitter Reacts
Once news broke that the New York park dedicated to fallen member of the Beasties Boys has been disgustingly vandalized, the surviving members decided to take action.
The park, located in Brooklyn Heights, was discovered to have been defaced with spray paint messages reading "Go Trump," and surrounded by swastikas.
In response of the hateful messages, the group decided to organize an anti-hate rally, taking place in Brooklyn tomorrow (Nov 20).
"Hate has no place in Brooklyn, NYC, or America," reads the Beastie Boys' Twitter post announcing the rally.
Considering the fact that late member, Adam "MCA" Yauch was such a lifelong advocate for essentially everything Trump is against, many are sounding off on Twitter to share their disgust that someone defaced such a landmark representing peace, love and equality.
Following the park being vandalized, some fans came forward to post cut out hearts on the playground to cover the grafitti in an act of solidarity.
