Drake and Game Offer Aid for Ohio House Fire Victims
Game's good deeds continue. Just days after the rapper opened his wallet to help cover the funeral costs of a 6-year-old girl who was shot in front of her home, he's doing the same for an Ohio woman whose boyfriend and five children died tragically in a house fire. This time, Game has inspired Drake to contribute. The hip hop superstars are pitching in $10,000 each to help the woman cover funeral costs. She works at a fast food chain.
"I can deal with a lot of things but people losing their children is something that kills me every time," Game posted on Instagram after reading about the tragedy. According to TMZ, he was on the phone with Drake at the time and the Nothing Was the Same rapper immediately offered to write a check. "What [Game] is doing will never be forgotten. Honored to be able to help people alongside my brother," he posted.
Game similarly inspired Snoop Dogg to contribute to the funeral costs for the 6-year-old girl, whose family he helped out earlier this month. The rapper and fitness guru recently pledged $1 million to help people in need.
Hopefully, many more will follow his example.
