Kamala Harris Hilariously Claps Back at MAGA Hecklers
With weeks left until the 2024 Presidential Election, Democratic nominee Kamala Harris isn't holding back.
That was clear on Thursday in La Crosse, Wisconsin, when protesters tried to interrupt her speech. The vice president was discussing former President Donald Trump’s involvement in abortion bans across the country when the hecklers chimed in.
However, Harris quickly shut them down. Donning a smile, she told the group, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally,” before adding, “I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street.”
The eloquently shady moment was captured and shared on the official Instagram page for Harris’s headquarters. The comment section erupted as online users reacted to the clip, including one user who wrote, “It was the smile and wave that did it for me.”
Another person commented, “She’s quick, witty, and with it. I didn’t see her stand around and sway to 39 minutes of music either,” seemingly referencing Trump dancing for over half an hour on stage after his campaign event in Philadelphia was twice interrupted by medical emergencies in the room.
