Django Unchained Coming to DVD

Saddle up your horses, film fans. Django Unchained is coming to DVD on April 16!
The Oscar-winning film, which kicked up a storm of controversy when it was released last December, deserves to be part of every movie buff's permament collection, both for its achievements in filmmaking and its place in cinema history.
Quentin Tarantino's hair-raising film is about an ex-slave (Jamie Foxx) who hooks up with a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) to rescue his wife (Kerry Washington) from a masochistic plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio). The film polarizied audiences, critics and celebrities like no other, with Spike Lee chiding the film as "disrespectful" to slave ancestors.
The DVD features a behind-the-scenes short film, featurettes on the production design, costumes and stunts, and notes on the Ennio Morricone score. No word on whether write/director Tarantino will do a DVD commentary, but even without it, the disc is a must-buy.
Gear up for the release by checking out our exclusive interview with Tarantino veteran and Django star Samuel L. Jackson and his thoughts on the film's liberal use of the N-word, below.
