Oprah Winfrey to Interview Bobbi Kristina Brown and Houston Family
Oprah Winfrey may have retired from her daytime TV show, but when it comes to captivating audiences with timely, sought after interviews she’s not missing a beat. The TV titan announced she will be doing the first interview with Bobbi Kristina, the late Whitney Houston’s daughter, just one month after the untimely death of the pop star.
The interview will air on the OWN network show Oprah’s Next Chapter. According to an OWN news release, Bobbi Kristina will share "personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.” Oprah will also speak with Whitney‘s sister-in-law/manager, Patricia Houston and her brother Gary Houston, who will address the rumors and speculation surrounding Houston’s death.
Oprah attended Houston's home going service in Newark, New Jersey on February 18 and featured the singer multiple times on The Oprah Winfrey Show, including a candid 2009 interview in which Houston discussed struggles during her career.
Oprah’s sit down with Houston’s family will air on OWN Sunday, March 11 at 9 p.m.
