Emmy-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph will soon join Hollywood’s elite as she receives a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ceremony is set to take place on Wednesday, January 29, marking a significant milestone in her decades-long career.
“I am deeply grateful to announce the honor of receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Ralph shared on X. “What a celebration of love, perseverance, and the unwavering support of family, friends, and fans. Thank you! This star shines for us all!”
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the comments under Ralph’s X post with congratulatory messages. Music legend Dionne Warwick wrote, “Congratulations,” while Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority member shared, “SOROR! This is AMAZING! I’m so thankful to know you, but even more overjoyed to know that your talent is being SEEN & honored! CONGRATS!!!!”
Ralph’s career spans over 40 years, with highlights including a Tony nomination for her breakout role as Deena Jones in the Broadway hit “Dreamgirls.” More recently, her portrayal of the no-nonsense yet nurturing kindergarten teacher Barbara Howard earned her the Best Supporting Actress Emmy in 2022.
