T.I., Kevin Liles, and More Named as Witnesses in Young Thug RICO Trial
Young Thug is calling on some pretty notable figures in the hip-hop world and his personal life to take the stand in his ongoing RICO case.
AllHipHop reports that the Atlanta rapper named rappers T.I., Killer Mike, Trae Tha Truth, 300 Entertainment CEO Kevin Liles, Global Head of Music for YouTube, Lyor Cohen, Atlantic Record’s Julie Greenwald, and his ex-girlfriend Jerricka, among others, to be potential witnesses who could speak to his professional music career.
Thugger, Gunna, and other members of his YSL label were among the defendants named in a May 2022 RICO case indictment. They’re accused of acting and participating in criminal street gang activity.

Young Thug’s specific trial has yet to start, and he has been in jail awaiting such.
The prosecution in the case is accusing Thug of being the co-founder and leader of the Young Slime Life gang and being behind several violent acts in Atlanta. His defense is contesting that YSL is a music label and nothing more.
