Marshawn Lynch Doesn't Have Much to Say in Pepsi Commercial
Beast Mode switches to Speech Mode.
A clever new Pepsi commercial has Marshawn Lynch explaining how he became the unlikely spokesperson for the soda company through a female actress. Essentially, the Seattle Seahawks' running back moves his lips to the woman's words, playing off the fact that Lynch despises speaking to the media.
"When Pepsi approached me about being their spokesman, I said, 'I don't know, I don't really like to speak,'" Lynch. "So they said, 'Well, Pepsi's all about trying something new, give it a shot.' So, I said, 'OK, as long as I don't have to speak.' So, they said, 'OK, would you at least move your lips?'"
With that said, Lynch takes a sip of Pepsi, before saying, "Speech Mode, boss!"
That's genius.
When's the last time you've seen a three-word endorsement?
