Queen Latifah on Lessons She Learned From Her Father
It's that time of year when we have an opportunity to say thank you to the people we take the most for granted — our parents. Mother's Day is behind us, and in less than two weeks it will be dad's turn to be celebrated. In honor of Father's Day, we asked a bunch of celebrities to share with us the biggest lessons they learned from their fathers or the father figure in their lives.
Ludacris says his old man, who passed away, taught him "hard work, dedication and hustle," while Chocolate City's Robert Ri'Chard said his dad always advised him to "give it 200%, no matter what you do in life."
Queen Latifah says, "I learned strength, I learned respect...I learned how to fight. But I think one of the most important lessons [I learned from my father] was how a man should treat a woman."
